Spring is here – and I’m so excited! While it may still be pretty dang cold out there, the trees are budding and weeds are already growing my gardens and that is very exciting! To celebrate this joyous occasion, BSBL and some other Minneapolis friends joined forces to pull together a spring elopement inspiration shoot.
While Minnesota in spring can be a dreary place, we wanted to pull a shoot together that showed how beautiful it could really be – with the early morning golden sun and the abundance of greenery. We picked a spot that’d show land of early spring here in MN, trees, twigs, left over leaves and of course – a lake. We wanted the juxtaposition of the greens to remind us that eventually these twigs will be full of beautiful blooms and leaves. Excitement and hope that spring will come soon as a symbol of the excitement and hope of your own wedding day.
In the middle of winter, spring seems so far away and the inspiration can be as endless as the daydreams of warmer weather. Honing it into soft pastel watercolors, earthy plants and all things feminine we ended up with a shoot we couldn’t be more proud of. Enjoy!
