5.14.16 – What a wonderful day… I’m pretty sure G&B think that, but I wouldn’t doubt that the guests (and all the vendors even) agree it was a pretty awesome day! All bride’s want something to be unique – but G&B’s everything was so special! Not just a band, but a jazz band! Not just a receiving line but a parade through Chaska! Not just a grand march but a tribute to the late (and dear to their hearts) artist formally known as Prince! Everything was awesome, and then with a cherry on top. The bride was so well thought out in her vision and you could tell there was a little bit of their relationship, favorite things and inside stories to every detail of their day!
After gathering some balloons, we headed off to Chaska. First of all, I’ve never been to Chaska and I just want to say that it’s SO adorable! We got to the venue early and luckily the tables were already set and we could get down to business!
Once the placecards were set, the cozies were placed, candles lit and flowers centered- it was time to head down to the ceremony. The little gazebo in the middle of town was just too darling! We pinned boutonnieres and got everyone lined up. With one last fluff of the train – the stunning bride was down the aisle with her oh-so-proud father. Just like that it was over and with a kiss and a cheer they marched back down the aisle as a married couple.
While I didn’t get to participate in the parade, I stood inside and watched the amazingness happen like a sad kid in the corner. Anyway, the band continued inside while pictures, hugs and stories were made and shared. Seriously, it was the best. Dinner happened with more wonderful stories being made and shared while I quietly shuffled in the background filling up popcorn buckets and moving balloons.
It’s safe to say the first wedding of the season for BSBL was a HUGE success! Wishing the lovely bride and groom happiness until forever and a really super awesome honeymoon!
